With the introduction of cloud and virtualization to the modern data center, things may have become more efficient, but they’ve also become dramatically more complex. This is especially true in the case of MSPs, as more and more companies look to outsource the day-to-day management of their physical and virtual environments. Companies facing limitations in budget or resources may see this solution as the answer to their problems, but as the data center becomes increasingly complex the MSP engineers come under a great deal of pressure to provide top-notch, hiccup-free services to their customers. The platform allowed the team to control their expanding environment in a way that took into consideration how each change would affect another part of the infrastructure. By starting with VM and workload demand and assuring the right resource supply is available to meet this demand they were able to drive the environment to its desired state. A state where application performance is assured while maximizing utilization of the infrastructure. In this desired state, the environment was in equilibrium and both the engineers and their clients were happy as could be. VMTurbo Operations Manager now provides control for All Covered’s 2,000 cloud-based virtual services, providing services to more than 250 clients utilizing the Cloud 2.0 platform.
No longer having to spend valuable time monitoring and responding to endless alerts, the cloud services team at All Covered can now dedicate their efforts towards the continuous growth and consolidation projects. They are able to ensure that the cloud-based infrastructure is kept running smoothly, all the while keeping costs low for the company and their clients.
