Introducing DevelopHer: Turbonomic’s First Employee Resource Group

The women of Turbonomic are core to our success. The company is supported by high-performing women who play a critical role in the company’s growth. We’re a diverse group, coming from different countries, cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. Given the challenges that women in technology face, we recognize the importance of fostering inclusivity and advancing the careers of our Turbo women.

With that said, we’re excited to announce the launch of DevelopHer – our first Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Turbonomic! DevelopHer is committed to empowering all women at Turbonomic by attracting, connecting, and advancing female talent while fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.

Under the pillars of empowerment, inclusion, and collaboration, DevelopHer’s goal is to increase awareness of key issues women face in work (and in the tech world) and provide a forum for all employees to learn how to overcome these challenges.

We aim to develop careers, confidence and create change in the workplace. This will come in the form of mentorship programs, conferences, speaking panels featuring guess speakers, networking events, and workshops. DevelopHer will provide multiple opportunities for you to get inspired to action along with other women in tech!

Providing a safe space for women to come together to collaborate, discuss their experiences, challenges, and goals is a necessary step in promoting a culture of Diversity and Inclusion (D&I). We know that D&I isn’t just an indicator of a healthy culture – but is also linked to better innovation and improved financial performance.

The overarching vision of DevelopHer is centered around having equal representation of women across all levels of leadership. The events and programming that we’ll be rolling out over the next few months are designed with this goal in mind. Stay tuned for exciting updates, especially around our formal launch event that’ll take place in September!

And, a big thank you to our Board Members for their commitment and driving this important group forward:
