On behalf of everyone at Turbonomic, we hope our customers, partners, employees, and community had a wonderful International Women’s Day! Every day, we are inspired by the grit and compassion that our women colleagues lead with. International Women’s Day (IWD) is an opportunity to not only show appreciation for the incredible women in our lives, but also shed light on the work that still needs to be done to achieve gender equality.
The theme of this year’s IWD campaign is #EachForEqual – a slogan that represents the power of individual commitments towards the collective goal of gender equality. At Turbonomic, accountability is a key characteristic instilled in our workforce. This is especially pertinent and exemplified in our Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategy. At our 2020 Sales Kick-Off, Natalie Singh, Microsoft’s US Public Sector Enterprise Channel Director, spoke to us about why D&I is important to business success, and how we can make it part of the natural rhythm and culture of an organization. After presenting the 10 Inclusive Behaviors that Microsoft practices, our executive team personally committed to weaving these into Turbonomic’s leadership principles and culture.
To celebrate IWD, we wanted to highlight the incredible accomplishments of the women at Turbonomic, but also ask our peers and allies to make their own commitments to moving the needle on gender equality. As you take a look at the slides below, we ask that you think about your role in creating a more gender equal society, and pledge to support the cause not just on IWD, but every day of the year.
