Turbonomic today announced that Ian Penny, Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Hiscox and the former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Barclays, has been elected to its Board of Directors, effective immediately. Penny becomes the second Turbonomic board member with CIO experience (joining former GE CIO, Gary Reiner) in driving major digital transformation and cloud initiatives for international multi-billion dollar companies.
