BOSTON, MA – February 22, 2021 – Turbonomic, the leader in Application Resource Management (ARM) announced that it has promoted two of its most tenured customer-facing leaders and expanded leadership in EMEA to best position the company for its next phase of growth and expansion heading into FY22.
- Steve Corndell, currently Senior Vice President of Sales in North America, has been promoted to Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
- Oved Lourie has been promoted to Global Field CTO.
- Matt Poulton joins Turbonomic as Vice President and General Manager of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
“Serving a multibillion-dollar market, Turbonomic’s unique solution improves the way customers manage their applications – anywhere, in real time, and over time.” said Ben Nye, Chief Executive Officer at Turbonomic.
“Steve, Oved, and Matt all have proven track records of customer-centric leadership, making us incredibly well-positioned to continue to deliver on our mission. Their entrepreneurial spirit and grit have made them trusted partners to our customers and alliance partners, helping them solve their biggest business challenges.” said Jack Sweeney, Chief Operating Officer at Turbonomic.
Corndell joined Turbonomic in February 2012 – during his tenure he has served in a variety of sales leadership roles, most recently as Senior Vice President of Sales in North America. He also played an integral role in the design and implementation of Turbonomic's Enterprise and Commercial Sales organizations, in addition to helping launch Turbonomic’s Channel Sales team. Steve’s experience with delivering record revenue results across North America from the Commercial and Enterprise teams, as well as driving alignment between sales, customers, and partners, has well-prepared him for his new role.
“I’m honored to take this next step in my journey at Turbonomic as Chief Revenue Officer,” said Corndell. “There is significant opportunity for us to transform the way organizations manage applications to support their business. I look forward to maintaining our momentum into 2021, while providing unparalleled support to our customers and alliance partners.”
Lourie joined Turbonomic in November 2011 as Manager of Sales Engineering and Product Management. Since then, he has held numerous leadership positions in Turbonomic’s Sales Engineering organization. Lourie also served as Regional Vice President of Enterprise Sales. His years of experience working alongside customers and coaching high-performing teams have prepared him for the Global Field CTO role, where he will oversee the company’s entire Pre-Sales organization.
“As our customers ramp up their adoption of applications on public cloud and cloud native technologies, Turbonomic will continue to act as a trusted advisor,” said Lourie. “I look forward to helping our customers realize the benefits of these game-changing technologies and ensure our team delivers our strongest year to date.”
Poulton will oversee EMEA’s GTM strategy and operations. Prior to joining Turbonomic, Poulton served in a variety of leadership roles at companies such as Palo Alto Networks, Trend Micro, Venafi, and Symantec. His proven record of accomplishment in leading enterprise sales teams, leveraging alliance partnerships, and driving success for his customers will ensure Turbonomic’s EMEA business reaches new heights in the coming year.
“Heading into FY22, accelerating Turbonomic’s global reach is a top priority – EMEA is a critical driver of that growth strategy.” said Poulton. “With strong alignment of our teams, a customer-centric mindset, and our teamwork on a global scale, we’re looking at a phenomenal year ahead.”
