The combination of Turbonomic Autonomic Performance Platform with Hewlett Packard Enterprise OneView enables customers to provision infrastructure on demand without human intervention
(Boston, MA and Palo Alto, CA) August 24, 2016 – Turbonomic, the Autonomic Performance Platform, today announced it is joining the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Composable Ecosystem partner program to showcase Turbonomic’s autonomic performance control system together with HPE OneView. This pairing enables joint customers to deliver cloud performance, economics and agility in their own datacenters.
Turbonomic manages customers’ datacenter complexity through its unique autonomic platform. Together with HPE OneView, customers can assure application performance by matching application demand with infrastructure supply in real time across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Through its open, API-based architecture, HPE OneView translates Turbonomic’s real-time software driven decisions into provisioning actions to flex, compose and recompose the underlying HPE infrastructure.
This integration offers significant benefits across all of HPE’s infrastructure platforms, most notably HPE Synergy, the world’s first platform architected for Composable Infrastructure. Joint customers will enjoy significant return-on-investment from increased virtual density while assuring application performance through software without any manual intervention.
With the integration of Turbonomic and Composable Infrastructure, customers will be able to:
- Guarantee the performance of any application, typically improving response time by 30%+ and delivering predictable QoS levels for all applications
- Deliver cloud-like economics on premises with HPE composable infrastructure including HPE Synergy, which enables the same system administrator to manage 10 times more workloads
- Accelerate the transition to a hybrid–cloud infrastructure, with specific performance and cost based decisions to migrate workload from on-premises to the cloud as well as between cloud
“Turbonomic’s autonomic performance platform is an important element that enhances HPE deployments in the world’s most advanced customers’ environments,” said Ben Nye, Chief Executive Officer of Turbonomic. “It successfully ties real time application demand directly to HPE infrastructure supply through software only – hands free - with no manual intervention necessary.”
“Our customers are enabling their lines of business to move faster through an IT experience which is simple and provides them the tools to deploy apps and services faster, smarter and fearlessly,” said Ric Lewis, Senior Vice President and GM, Converged Data Infrastructure, Hewlett Packard Enterprise. “Together, we are making it easier for customers to control private, hybrid and multi-cloud environments, while providing IT solutions that optimize their investments and power a new generation of applications.”
Turbonomic’s autonomic platform enables heterogeneous environments to self-manage to assure performance of any application in any cloud. Turbonomic’s patented autonomic decision engine dynamically analyzes application demand and allocates the full supply chain of all shared resources to all applications in real time, to maintain environments continuously in a healthy state.
According to Inc. 500, Turbonomic is one of the fastest growing technology companies in the virtualization and cloud space. Turbonomic’s autonomic platform is trusted by thousands of enterprises to accelerate their adoption of virtual, cloud, and container deployments for all mission critical applications.
