Today, Turbonomic has announced our OEM agreement with IBM. IBM will immediately begin selling IBM Application Resource Management (ARM) for Cloud Native Applications. This agreement strengthens our existing partnership with IBM and recognizes their commitment to bringing Turbonomic ARM to a broader market.
Together, IBM CloudPak for Multicloud Management and IBM Application Resource Management (powered by Turbonomic) will enable your AppOps, CloudOps, SecOps and Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) with advanced self-diagnosing, self-healing, self-optimizing cloud management within your operations to assure application performance throughout the service lifecycle.
“IBM has been continuously evolving and expanding upon its hybrid cloud and AI capabilities, all while leveraging its open source, security, and run-anywhere scalability leadership,” said, Robin Hernandez, VP IBM Hybrid Multicloud & AI Ops. “Through IBM ARM for Cloud Native, IBM is now able to assure performance and extend our CP4MCM capabilities, enhancing the company’s cloud portfolio. We are thrilled that Turbonomic is now a key part of IBM’s strategy in growing its hybrid cloud and delivering innovative cloud native offerings.”
As the IBM team evaluated Turbonomic’s technology to ensure it meets their rigorous demands for functional, operational and security requirements to be sold under the IBM brand, I have learned that ‘winning the architecture battle for Cloud Native’ applications is more than a rallying cry – it is a passion. We are pleased and honored that IBM ARM (powered by Turbonomic) is a part of IBM’s vision and passion.
