Today, we made our fourth consecutive appearance on the Forbes Cloud 100, the definitive ranking of the top 100 private cloud companies in the world! We’re also delighted to see a number of our partners on the list!
This annual list is driven by Forbes, in partnership with Bessemer Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures. It’s selected by a panel of judge who are predominately public cloud company CEOs (here’s the full list http://thecloud100.com/judges) who rank companies across four factors: market leadership, estimated valuation, operating metrics, and people and culture.
Matt Garratt, Managing Partner, Salesforce Ventures summed up the significance of being on this list when he said that this list recognizes, “those who are not just predicting what’s coming but working to create the future.”
We are fortunate to work with many of the world’s largest enterprises and public entities as they embrace multicloud environments. Our milestones this year reflect the broad market movement to cloud and growing customer awareness of the importance of Application Resource Management in cloud environments.
- In the past year we were honored as an inaugural launch partner for two more AWS competencies, bringing our competency total to three (Migration, Cloud Management Tool and Microsoft Workload). We are the only technology partner globally to hold these three competencies. In addition to technical validation, Turbonomic was inducted into the AWS ISV Accelerate program which strategically aligns AWS sellers with select ISVs to drive joint value for AWS customers
- Our recent v6.4 software release showcases our strategic relationship with Microsoft Azure Engineering and Sales. Turbonomic expanded our Application Resource Management solution capabilities through performance optimization of Azure Reserved Instances, Enterprise Agreement specific pricing, and the ability to plan on-premises SQL workloads to Azure SQL Database Managed Instances. Additionally, Turbonomic was a featured partner in the new Azure Migrate Experience to help accelerate Azure migrations.
- Our acquisition of ParkMyCloud demonstrates our continued commitment to broadening our service coverage and value to reach customers of all sizes wherever they are on their cloud journeys.
